When you first buy your samsung galaxy fame, notice that the device status is still official, but after you root the phone it will become custom.
So how to make the galaxy fame device status official again? all you have to do is unroot the phone like i explain here.
Unroot the phone works for me, my galaxy fame now become official again. But if that doesn't work for you then you need to do factory hard reset.
To do the factory hard reset you must go to recovery mode as i explain here, perform the wipe cache partition first and then do the wipe data/factory reset.
There are two ways to see your galaxy fame device status :
- go to Settings > About device > Status > Device status
- go to download mode
When do i need to make my galaxy fame device status official again? like for example when you want to sell the phone or when you're going to samsung repair center to claim the warranty.
