How to fake Galaxy Fame android version

Hi guys, whats up? welcome back to this amazing blog, today i'm going to show you how to fake samsung galaxy fame android version.

Samsung galaxy fame comes with android version 4.1.2 which is jelly bean, in this tutorial i'm going to change it into android 4.4.2 (kitkat).

To see the android version you can go to "Settings" > "About device" > "Android version". On galaxy fame normally you'll see something like this :

And i'm going to change it into this :

Here's step by step how to fake galaxy fame android version :

• make sure the phone has root access
• install root explorer
• using root explorer go to /system (ROOT)
• mount as read and write (Mount R/W) 
• find build.prop on the system folder
• open build.prop using text editor (press long > Open With > Text Editor)
• look for this line : ro.build.version.release=4.1.2
• change it into : ro.build.version.release=4.4.2
• save and exit

Now you should see android 4.4.2 (basically you can change whatever you like doesn't have to be 4.4.2), congratulation you have just upgrade your galaxy fame to kitkat (LOL).

If you open the galaxy fame easter egg (android easter egg), you will see that it also change there but still says jelly bean despite now the android version is 4.4.2.

WARNING : don't change anything else besides what i explain above, carelessly modify build.prop file may harm the phone, causing brick/boot loop/error. Do at your own risk !!!
